Gaming at FSU fsu.edu

You are allowed to use gaming devices on the Residence Hall network, ResNet. Gaming devices using a wired connection need only be plugged into the network.

Gaming devices using a wireless connection must be registered. However, using wireless connections is *NOT* recommended since the connection is both slower and shared with others. The residence halls with wireless coverage are:

  • Landis Hall
  • DeGraff Hall, both A and B
  • Wildwood Hall, both A and B

If a slower, shared, wireless connection is desired, please register by submitting a Repair Ticket. When completing the Repair Ticket include the following information for registration:

  • Game System Type
  • MAC Address (see instructions below for finding your MAC address
  • Serial Number
  • Your contact details
