ENTOURAGE or OUTLOOK EXPRESS w/SSL (MAC)

(The following instructions apply for MAC OS9 & OSX - The windows will appear slightly different, but the content is identical.)

  1. Open Entourage. If the setup assistant opens, you will need to close it.





  2. Once at the main Entourage screen, click on Tools, then Accounts.





  3. Click on the arrow next to New, then choose Exchange.



  4. Choose "Configure account manually"

  6. Under Account Settings, type "FSU Exchange" in the Account name, and fill your full name, e-mail address, your admin username, and password. Type FSU into the Domain field, and "admin2k.fsu.edu" in the Exchange server. Place a checkmark next to "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)"; the port will automatically change to 443. Then choose Advanced at the top of the window.



  7. Under Advanced, type "admin2k.fsu.edu/public" in Public folders server, and place a checkmark next to "This DAV service requires a secure connection (SSL)"; the port will automatically change to 443. Type "146.201.7.176" in LDAP server, and place a checkmark next to "This server requires me to log on". Type "dc=fsu,dc=edu" in Search base. Click OK.

  9. Close the Accounts window.
