SETTING UP LDAP ADDRESS BOOK IN OUTLOOK 2003

1) From the Tools menu, Select Email Accounts.



2) Choose "Add a new directory or address book" and click Next .


3) Choose LDAP (The first option) and click Next.



4) Enter the following information in the appropiate boxes.

Server Name: addressbook.fsu.edu

Check the box that says: "This server requires me to log on"

User Name: uid=FSUID,ou=people,dc=fsu,dc=edu
(replace FSUID with your real FSUID)

Password: Enter your FSUID password.


click the Next button. Then Exit and Restart Outlook.



5) Once your computer has finished restarting, go into outlook and pull up the Tools menu again, and Select Email Accounts.



6) Choose "View or change existing directories or address books" and click Next.



7) Select "addressbook.fsu.edu" and click "Change..."



8) Click on the button "More Settings..."



9) Check the box that says "Use Secure Sockets Layer"



10) In the Search tab, enter in the Search base box: "ou=people,dc=fsu,dc=edu" like in the example below and click the OK button.
